Placing your faith in Jesus

The Gospel is "The Good News" that believing in Jesus Christ gives us eternal life. "All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God," Romans 3:23. That sin separates us from God. "But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Chris died for us," Romans 5:8. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so no one may boast."

If have you made a decision to surrender your life to Jesus, congratulations! You might be wondering what the next step in your faith might be. Here are some good places to start.

Pray; simply talk to God. You don’t have to use big words or even speak out loud. Just share your heart with Him and let the Holy Spirit lead you.

Begin attending and serving in a Bible-believing and teaching church.
